Honoring Our Military Families
The Memphis Grizzlies are very grateful to the men and women who serve in the U. S. military and protect our freedom in the United States.
The Grizzlies and program sponsors Ashley Furniture want to extend a warm welcome home to those service members who have recently served abroad as well as those who serve domestically.
Throughout the 2011-12 season, the Memphis Grizzlies will give service members and their families an opportunity to attend a Memphis Grizzlies home game on us to show our deepest appreciation for their commitment.
Program Details
The Memphis Grizzlies Charitable Foundation will provide qualifying families with a night out at a 2011-12 Memphis Grizzlies regular season home game. This package includes a maximum of 10 Plaza Level tickets, up to two (2) parking passes for the Ford Parking Garage adjacent to the FedExForum, and one (1) $10 concessions voucher per person. An announcement recognizing the family will also be made during the game.
To qualify:
- The service member is active or reserve duty, or has recently retired from the U.S. armed forces and resides in the Mid-South area

Grizzlies Foundation staff will give the selected family at least one week’s notice before the game to inform members that they won and to coordinate plans to attend the game.
FAQs
Can my extended family or friends attend the game?
Please! If selected, you will receive up to 10 tickets for a game to give to any family members or friends you would like.
May I request a certain game?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate requests for specific games. Families will be selected at random from all eligible applications approximately two weeks in advance of each game. Please list on the application if there are certain dates you are unable to attend.
How long does the program last?
We will host one family for every home game through the end of the 2011-12 regular season.
What happens once I have applied?
Grizzlies staff will verify the service of the listed family member and put your application in the drawing for a home game. Eligible applications will remain in the drawing for every home game though a family may only win once this season. You need only apply one time.
